For starters, try the local sausages, which are always freshly made and served with tangy mustard and warm bread. These sausages are perfectly seasoned, and you can really taste the care that goes into making them. Pair them with a cold German beer, and you're in for a real treat.

If you prefer fish, their fried trout is a local favorite and perfectly cooked, served with a light lemon-butter sauce that complements the fresh fish beautifully.

In addition to these traditional offerings, the menu also includes seasonal specials that reflect the changing ingredients available throughout the year. For instance, in the fall, you’ll often find dishes with mushrooms or roasted game meats, while spring brings lighter, vegetable-forward options. The chefs take great care in ensuring that each dish reflects the season, making every visit a unique experience.

  • Very nice location, professional stuff and good food at a reasonable price. If not that far away, I would go there regularly.

  • This is a wonderful place, historic, comfortable and striking. My room was vast and warm. The WiFi was unfortunately just barely adequate, often losing signal completely; and the hot water was but lukewarm. These are perhaps details, but stopped me allocating 5 stars. There was also a mixup over check-in time, and I had a long wait for that. I used the time to go for a long walk in the vineyards - this was extraordinary with panoramic views for miles around. I'd return to try again, as the breakfast was first class and anyone starting out, as they are, deserves a second chance.
